Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline how we work together at K Graphic Design—covering payments, timelines, and project expectations so everything stays clear and stress-free.

​These Terms & Conditions form the basis of a working relationship between K Graphic Design (“the Designer”) and you (“the Client”).

​

By approving a quote, submitting payment, or commencing a project, the Client agrees to the following terms.

1. Payment Terms

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all projects.

  • The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, prior to final file delivery or website launch.

  • Payment is accepted via e-transfer (EMT) unless otherwise agreed in writing before the project begins.

2. Ownership & Files

  • Upon full payment, the Client is granted full ownership of final approved designs and deliverables.

  • This includes logo files, brand assets, and final exported files outlined in the project scope.

  • Working files (e.g. drafts, unused concepts, working documents) remain the property of K Graphic Design unless otherwise agreed.

 

3. Scope of Work

  • All project details, deliverables, and timelines will be outlined in a written quote or proposal.

  • Any work requested outside of the approved scope will be quoted separately and may impact timelines.

 

4. Revisions

  • Projects include a reasonable number of revisions as outlined in the proposal.

  • Additional revisions or significant changes may be subject to additional fees.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide all required content (text, images, logos, etc.) in a timely manner

  • Ensure they have the rights to use any supplied materials

  • Review and provide feedback promptly to keep the project moving forward

 

Delays in communication or content delivery may impact timelines.

 

6. Timeline

  • Project timelines are estimates and depend on Client responsiveness and project scope.

  • K Graphic Design is not responsible for delays caused by third parties or lack of Client communication.

 

7. Final Approval

  • Final files will be delivered once full payment has been received.

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to review all work carefully before approval.

  • K Graphic Design is not responsible for errors identified after final approval.

 

8. Portfolio Use

  • K Graphic Design reserves the right to showcase completed work in portfolios, social media, and marketing materials.

  • If confidentiality is required, this must be agreed upon in writing prior to project start.

 

9. Cancellation

  • If a project is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable.

  • Any work completed beyond the deposit value will be invoiced and must be paid.

 

10. Liability

  • K Graphic Design is not liable for any loss, damages, or issues arising from the use of delivered designs.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring designs meet any legal, trademark, or industry requirements.

 

11. Acceptance

  • Approval of a quote, payment of deposit, or written confirmation (email/message) constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

 

12. Rush Projects

  • Projects requested with expedited timelines may be subject to a rush fee.

  • Rush fees will be quoted based on timeline and workload, and must be approved before work begins.

  • Availability for rush work is not guaranteed.

 

13. Project Pauses & Client Delays

  • If the Client becomes unresponsive for 14 days or more, the project will be considered paused.

  • Paused projects may be subject to:

    • A restart fee, and/or

    • Adjusted timelines based on current availability

  • If no communication is received within 30 days, the project may be considered inactive, and K Graphic Design reserves the right to close the project without refund of the deposit.
